Obituary of Walter J. Sydnor, Jr.

Walter J. Sydnor Jr., age 89, a lifetime resident of Middletown Twp., PA, died Thursday, October 27, 2016. Walt was a graduate of Media High School. Walt was a Union Carpenter for 60 years, where he was the past president of the Local 845. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving proudly during the Korean War. Mr. Sydnor was an avid boater and spent memorable days on his boat Boxy Doxy. He was a member of the Main Line Sail and Power Squadron. Most of all, Walt cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Son of the late Walter J. and Emma B. (Covington) Sydnor, Sr.; husband of the late Rita Sydnor; brother of the late Marian Gross and cousin of the late Frank C. Sydnor.
