So many memories of this lovely lady, my Aunt Betty Hamilton. As children we all knew that there would always be a dish of M&Ms on her coffee table that we were allowed to help ourselves to. As an adult it always made me smile to see it still sitting there whenever I made it back to PA to visit family. Aunt Betty was talented in so many ways, as a young woman during the war she worked at the Shipyard in Chester, she could sew beautiful dresses like the flower girl dress for my sister to wear in our cousin’s wedding. She was a true animal lover, I can’t remember a time when she & Uncle Sock didn’t have a dog in their lives. Whenever they visited my parents, Harold & Mary, in FL they would bring theirs and when my parents visited them they would have theirs with them. Aunt Betty & my mom were close, they did a road trip once together with Patsy, & Fran, & they enjoyed their weekly chats until mom was too sick. On my visits back to PA she would fill me in on the history of the Hamiltons & the Swains, & what my mom was like as a young girl. Aunt Betty touched so many lives through all of us, she will be truly missed. I know she’s with The Lord & all of those that have went before her. God Bless.
I will miss you so much you where my favorvite Aunt .
