Obituary of David J. Fynes

David J. Fynes, age 65, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. David was employed at Aker Philadelphia Shipyard. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Son of the late William and Hazel Fynes and brother of the late Sandra Gavin. Survivors: Wife: Diane (Forgione) Fynes Children: Danielle Greenman Fynes (Asher Lynch), Janine Kabbadj (Mamoun), Christina Fynes, Stefanie MacMullen, Nina Lees (James) and Alicia MacMullen Nine Grandchildren: Dorian, Sami, Gianna, Asher, Farah, Jayla, Safiyah, Inayah and Jameson Brother: William Fynes (Magdalena) Sisters: Linda Fynes and Denise Mossman (Jack) Also survived by nieces and nephews Memorial Service: Wednesday, January 18th at 11:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, where friends may call after 10:00AM.
