Obituary of Martha E. McCloskey

Martha E. "Marty" McCloskey of Media, PA, went home to be with the Lord, suddenly on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at her home. She graduated from Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA, and Resurrection Grade School, Chester, PA. Martha was a Contract Specialist with DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia, PA, for many years, and was retired from Macy's. She was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of The Church of Nativity BVM in Media, PA. Martha enjoyed all Philly Sports but most of all, Martha loved spending time with family and friends. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and actively involved in their lives. Martha's kind heart and thoughtfulness made her very special and she will be dearly missed. Martha was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Cline) McCloskey, sister of the late Madeline McCullough and Edward McCloskey. Visitation: Sunday, April 2nd from 6:00-8:00PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352)& Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, and Monday April 3rd from 9:30-10:15AM at The Church of Nativity BVM. Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Martha to: The Church of Nativity BVM at the above address.
