Obituary of Carmen Borrelli

Carmen Joseph Borrelli Sr., age 79, of Media, Pa, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. Carmen was a devoted family man and leaves behind his loving wife Cynthia, 7 children: Barbara Riehl, Cynthia Borrelli, Michael (Yvonne), Patricia Dalton (Thomas), Carmen (Cathleen), Christopher (Jennifer), and Carl (Jessica); 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is survived by 2 siblings: Fran Rigler and John Borrelli. He was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Sena D'Alesandro, Antoinette Fasey and Mary Sitler. Carmen was a hard-working entrepreneur owning several businesses, including 2 salons in Wynnewood, Pa: A Woman's World and A Man's World. He then ventured into the construction industry, building many residential homes, condominiums, and commercial properties. Another important aspect of his life was his commitment to his church community. During his life, Carmen was always honest, generous and giving. His greatest joy was being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Service: Saturday, May 13th at 11:30AM at the Church of St. Francis De Sales, 35 New Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Visitation: Friday, May 12th from 6:00-8:00PM and Saturday, May 13th from 10:00-11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA. 19063. Interment: Private.
