Condolences
Dear Hartzell family, so sorry to hear of the loss in your family. Dick, my heart is sad for you, can just see Marilyn playing the piano as Ida sings. Our joy is only knowing they are in the presence of our Lord. God bless you all, He will give you peace. Loyal
Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
My deepest sympathy to Uncle Dick, Nancy, Richard, Neal, and their spouses. It would take a book to describe all of Aunt Ida's special qualities. She was tireless in loving and giving, especially to our large family. When my daughter, Kate, was four years old and we were at a family gathering following my Dad's funeral, Aunt Ida put Kate on her lap and began rubbing her back. As the Schaffer family knows, that was a family trait - a gentle back rub chased away all troubles and brought immediate calm and relaxation. My daughter fell asleep in Aunt Ida's arms.
May the prayers of all who love you carry you through this time of sorrow. But we also rejoice that she is now with her blessed savior.
Love to all of you,
Celeste
(Marian's daughter)
I dearly love my aunt Ida and we will surely miss her. When my mother June was dying Aunt Ida came to see her and the affection the two sisters shared was so beautiful. Both Aunt Ida and my mom were orphaned early in life. Now they are both with the Lord and their dear Momma. Aunt Ida added so much to others lives by her love and generosity. I remember many wonderful stories that Aunt Ida shared about her upbringing and how a group of the family all went forward together and gave their hearts to the Lord. It is difficult to say see you later when you love someone, but in Christ we have hope to see our loved ones again in Heaven. Aunt Ida tell Mom I send my love. Our condolences to Uncle Dick, Nancy, Richard, Neal, and all the family members. We are praying for you all. Love & Prayers, Ellen, Jeff, & Liz Rice
