Obituary of Nancy Darlington

Nancy Dillon Darlington, age 78 years, of Middletown Township, died Sunday, June 4, 2017.  Born in Lackawanna County, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Glenn and Pauline Crocker Dillon.  Mrs. Darlington grew up in Prospect Park, PA and was a graduate of Interboro High School.  She attended Indiana University Fort Wayne, majoring in the fine arts.  She was a passionate artist, specializing in painting and pottery.  For more than 50 years she was beloved wife of the late Jared Worrall Darlington.

Devoted mother to Sharon Darlington Drewer of Arlington, VA and Jared D. Darlington of Fishers, Indiana.  Loving grandmother of Jared "Will" Darlington, Madeline Darlington, and Ava Drewer.

Also preceded in death by her brother William C. Dillon and son-in-law William D. Drewer.

Visitation: Saturday, June 10th from 10:00-11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Memorial Service: Saturday, June 10th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art, P.O. Box 141, Chadds Ford, PA 19317 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
