Herb, so sorry to hear of Bette's passing. We know we're at the age when such things can not be unexpected but that does not alleviate the sorrow at such times.
I'll never forget our teaming up - the great times we had - Your sharp sense of humor,etc.. We made a good pair with your superior net play and my better that average serve. I'll always cherish those memories. The good times - like when we won one for the team in 3 hours on a steamy hot day?
But time goes by. Few of those we played with back then are still active - I too am out account illness. Temporarily I hope.
