Obituary of Elsie M. Miller

Elsie M. (nee Clements) Miller, 91, of Gilbertsville, PA, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. Miller was born and raised in Chester, PA. She graduated from Chester High School in 1938. She worked as a Salesperson for Robert Simmonds Stationary and Toys in Chester, PA. During World War II Mrs. Miller worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad located at 32nd & Market Streets, Philadelphia, as a clerk working in the car service department. Mrs. Miller was devoted to her home and most of all her family. She was an enthusiastic animal lover and was a generous supporter of the SPCA. A dog lover, she especially loved German Shepherds. Elsie and her husband enjoyed traveling and visited twenty-eight states, five Canadian Providences, Spain and Norway. She was a member of Tyler Arboretum. SURVIVORS: Husband of 68 years, Thomas R.
