Obituary of Lila D. Bonney
Lila D. (Loveland) Bonney, age 78, of Lenni, PA, died Monday, October 9, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Lila was employed with Riddle Manor Nursing Home for 5 years and Chef Scot's Deli and Catering for 4 years. Lila was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, Aston, PA. She was the Treasurer for the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post #6613 Aston, PA.
Lila was the most loving and caring mother to her family. She was loved by many, including her deer and birds that she fed faithfully. She enjoyed spending time with her children, singing her favorite songs to her grandchildren. Lila was a care taker of many people over the years. She enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays, often getting compliments from people traveling past. Her home and arms were always open for everyone. Lila loved cooking for her family. She was famous for her homemade graham cracker cream pies at Thanksgiving, a tradition that she handed down to her grandchildren. She enjoyed many traveling adventures with her fiancé Ray over the years, the casinos, Potter County, Camp Blue Diamond and Lancaster. She will be dearly missed by all.
Daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude Loveland; Wife of the late loving husband of 33 years Robert Bonney; sister of the late Barbara Bamforth, Vivian Wyatt, Dottie Loveland, Robert Loveland and David Loveland; grandmother of the late Rebecca Jane Weirich

Children: Nickie (Carmen) Imburgia, Michael (Sandy) Bonney, Trudy (Nick) Weirich, Jack (Donna Hall) Bonney, Barb Guessford, Robert (Sharon) Bonney, and Rayna (Charley) McGrath

Funeral Service: Friday, October 13th at 11:00AM at Resurrection Episcopal Church, 667 Mount Road, Aston, PA 19014.
Visitation: Friday, October 13th from 9:00AM to 10:45AM at the church.
Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
