Obituary of Joseph J. Benz

Joseph J. Benz, age 89, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Lenni, PA, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Joe was employed with Wyeth for 24 years, until his retirement in 1986. He worked part time at Linvilla Orchards. Joe was a US Army Veteran, who served in Germany during the Korean War.

Joe was a member of Killian Miles American Legion Post #87, Bonaventure Clark VFW Post  #6613, and a life member of Lenni Heights Fire Company.

Joe enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes and was an avid Phillies fan.

Wife of 55 years to Ann E. Smith Benz

Daughters: Tina (Don) Powell and Bunny (Brian) Rae

Grandchildren: Megan, Alexis, Brandon, Christopher and Ashley

Funeral Service: Friday, October 20th at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Frances De Sales, 35 New Rd. Aston, PA 19014.

Visitation:  Friday, October 20th after 10:00AM at the church.

Interment: St. Frances De Sales Cemetery.
