Obituary of Elizabeth R. Christy

Elizabeth R. "Betty" Christy, age 86, of Media, PA, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2017, surrounded by her family. Betty was a graduate of Glen-Nor High School, Class of 1949. Betty was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Brookhaven, PA. Mrs. Christy volunteered at Crozer Hospital for 38 years. She enjoyed knitting and was a member of the undercover quilters.

Daughter of the late John and Emma Riddell; sister of the late Jack Riddell, Jr. and Katharine Atkinson.

Survivors:

Husband of 62 Years: Ralph "Taylor" Christy, Jr.

Son: Mark (Sandy) Christy

Grandchildren: Dawn (Rob) McGinnis, Richard (Danielle) Christy, Matthew Christy

6 Great-Grandchildren

Also survived by a niece, nephew and a godchild.

Visitation: Thursday, November 2nd after 10:00AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 600 Duttons Mill Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Funeral Service: Thursday, November 2nd at 11:00AM at Christ United Methodist Church.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
