Condolences
Terry I will truly miss all our talks and lunches you were a true friend to me I love you ,until we meet again rest in peace.
Our Mom Terry was proud of her Irish heritage (O'Brien), and was the youngest of the eleven children in the O'Brien clan. Her "Irish Eyes" were smiling whenever she spoke of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! Mom always dreamed of visiting County Mayo in Ireland, the homeland of her heritage. Although she could not make the physical journey, she was so very happy with a gift from a grandson who visited Ireland. Our Mom Terry enjoyed collecting little spoons from places she visited...she visited Ireland in her heart with the addition of that special spoon. If there is such a thing as a "chocolate chakra", then Mom had one for sure! She was like a kid in a candy store when it came to chocolate, and simply delighted in every chocolate malt, chocolate peanut cluster, cake, and cookie that family, friends and neighbors brought to her during her long illness. Our Mom Terry was known by many for her "fighting Irish" spirit, but there was also a creative light shining through her green eyes. In the 1990's our Mom Terry creatively designed numerous beautiful silk flower arrangements as gifts for friends and family. In later years she wrote beautiful poetry, some which was published. A life and a light that touched many...be assured that "Irish Eyes" are smiling still in a place full of shamrocks, leprechauns and rainbows!
