Oh, what fun Aunt Mary and I used to have. I didn't want to share her with anybody, except maybe Jean. Pulled her down in Grandma's cow pasture{by accident!}. She made me the one and only homemade rag doll I ever had. Then there were Christmas visits; she made the holiday special. Later there were visits to her home by myself when I was a young adult.

She was the only one beside myself to watch Susan, my daughter and her great niece, eat her first bite of cereal when she was a baby. As Susan grew older, she and Aunt Mary were great tea partiers with food{not politics}! Aunt Mary continued the tradition of sewing for Susan. We still have the doll blankets she knitted and the doll clothes she sewed. I am looking forward to letting Lena Jo, my granddaughter, play with them in a couple of years.

The past few years Aunt Mary was the one who always took the time to listen to any of my concerns.

Guess I can say that there was never anyone as special as My Aunt Mary! Know that she will continue to be her family's guardian angel!!!

In a couple of years I hope to have Lena Jo, my granddaugter, playing with them. And you better believe that she will know about the special aunt who made them!

In recent years Aunt Mary was always the one with whom I could share my concerns. I will miss calling her so much! But I know she is now our family's and her friend's special guardian angel!!

Miss Sileo was a wonderful woman,teacher and mentor.She was my Sunday school teacher @ First Italian Presbeyterian Church who taught me all about faith. She will be sorely missed and has left quite a legacy.
