Obituary of Ruthann Jaworsky

Ruthann (Clampitt) Jaworsky, age 88, of Upland, PA, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her home and the same room she was born in on November 1, 1929.

Ruthann loved writing poetry, which she won awards. She loved drawing, crafting, planting flower gardens in the Spring and arranging bouquets of flowers in the Winter. She loved singing and playing her guitar. Ruthann and her sister Ethel sang country western songs on the radio with Bill Haley before he went Rock 'n' Roll. Ruthann made homemade grape jelly from her own grapevines. She pickled green tomatoes and made bread & butter pickles, dill pickles and chow chow. She loved her town Upland and going to Slaughter Beach, DE. Most of all Ruthann loved God, her family and her Native American heritage.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie (McClyment) Clampitt; wife of the late Daniel Jaworsky, Sr., sister of the late Charles Jr., Helen, Hazel, Edna, Earl, Leah, Eva, Lillian, and Ethel.

Survivors:

Children: Ethel A., Eva R. and Daniel (wife Kelly) Jaworsky

Grandchildren: Daniel III., Heather, Regina and Anthony (wife Mirta) Jaworsky

Great Grandchildren: Seth, Anthony Jr,. Miliana and Julietta

Also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved her and she loved them.

Funeral Service: Monday, February 19th at 10:30AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Monday, February 19th after 9:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Upland Baptist Church Cemetery.
