Obituary of Almeda F. Norris

Almeda F. "Medie" Norris, age 87, of Lima Estates, formerly of Aston, PA, went home to be with her Lord and her love Keeley on Monday, March 19, 2018. Mrs. Norris moved to Lima Estates in 2005 where she was active and on several committees. Medie was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church for fifty years, she was devoted to her faith, and loved the Lord. She served on many administrative committees. Mrs. Norris joined the Aston Township Lioness Club in 1997 and was the Past President and was active with the blind center. Medie was the past newsletter editor for Aston-Chichester AARP, a member of Aston Senior Citizens and a member of the Delaware County Chapter, PA Association of School Retirees. Survivors: Sons: Keeley L. Norris, Jr. of Allentown, PA and Duane C. Norris of Hilton Head, SC Grandchildren: Keil Lee, Robert Russel, Scott Lowry, Samantha Joy, Stacey Marie and Dylan Carl Sister: Grace Luckenbaugh Funeral Service: Friday, March 23rd at 12:00PM at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 4020 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014, where friends may call after 11:00AM. A lioness service will be held prior to the religious service. Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Residents Association Employee Fund at Lima Estates, 411 N. Middletown Rd. Media, PA 19063, or the Mt. Hope Tower Bell Repair Fund at Mt. Hope Church, at the above address.
