Obituary of Barbara A. Baldwin Ahearn

Barbara A. Baldwin Ahearn, age 77, of the Rockdale section of Aston Township, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 6, 2018. Barb was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, Class of 1958. She was a secretary with Riddle Memorial Hospital for many years, until retiring in 1994. Barbara was a former member of the Lenni Heights Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the VFW Post #6613, Lenni, PA. Barb enjoyed the companionship of her dog, Baby. Most of all, she was devoted to her home and family. Barb cherished family gatherings and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Daughter of the late Frank H. and Dorothy E. Schaffer, wife of the late George H. Baldwin, who died in 1992, and the late Thomas Ahearn, who died in 2013, grandmother of the late Gary J. Young, Jr. Survivors: Daughter: Karen (Gary) Young, Sr. Son: Alan Baldwin Sister: Carole Whartnaby Grandchildren: Shannon, Lauren, Casey, David and Michelle Also survived by nieces and nephews Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 10th at 11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.
