Obituary of James David Longhurst

James David Longhurst, age 65, of Brookhaven , PA, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Fox Chase Hospital.

Born in Upland, PA, Jim had been a resident of Brookhaven, PA, for 30 years. He was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1971. Mr. Longhurst had been employed by Boeing for 30 years as a machinist until his retirement in March.

Mr. Longhurst attended Mount Hope United Methodist Church in Aston, PA. He was the current President of the Aston Township Lions Club. Jim was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

His wife: Mary Lou (Horton) Longhurst.

Parents: Walter and Claire (Cullis) Longhurst, Jr.

Son: James (Melissa) Longhurst,Jr.

Daughter: Rachael (Brian) Longhurst

Brothers: Richard (Karen) and Rob (Samantha) Longhurst

Sisters: Linda Mano, Jane (Don) MacNeill, Nancy (Mark) Pierce

Also survived by Nieces and Nephews.

Services: Funeral Service on Friday,1:00PM from the Mount Hope United Methodist Church, Concord Rd., Aston, PA where friends may call after 12:00Noon. Lions Club Service at 12:45PM.

Interment: Private
