Obituary of John Kuc

John Kuc, age 93, of Lincoln University, PA, died at home peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Born and raised on the family farm in Millville, NJ, he developed a lifelong love and natural interest in gardening. Throughout his years, Mr. Kuc lived in both Delaware and Chester counties and for the last 30 years, he resided on his own farm in Lincoln University, PA.  John served in the United States Army during World War II and was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Military College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

John and his brother, Anthony, founded The Upland Corporation, a manufacturer of small hand tools, where he worked for many years. In his post-Upland career, he developed several processes for the recycling of plastic and rubber compounds that were used in lawn, garden and agricultural applications.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Cora; his sons, Roger and Robert; sisters, Anne Winkie and Stephanie Berger and his brother, Anthony.

Son: John (Eileen) Kuc 

Daughter: Dianne (John) Jezorski

Stepson: William (Debra) West

Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren

Funeral Service: Friday, September 14, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Friday, September 14, 2018, after 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Media Cemetery, Media, PA 19063.
