Obituary of Mary Ann Falcone

Mary Ann Ross Falcone, “Mare” age 74, of Swarthmore, PA, died peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with liver cancer, on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Mare had a lengthy career in Medical Records at Delaware County Memorial Hospital and enjoyed her last job at Maria’s Bakery, serving friends and customers of Ridley, PA.  Mary Ann was a devoted parishioner for more than 50 years at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, Swarthmore, PA.  Actively involved at church, she was a CCD teacher for 42 years and especially loved the Sacrament of Confirmation and teaching children the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She was a Eucharistic Minister and enjoyed cooking for the parish carnival.

Mary Ann enjoyed dinners at Outback, trips to the casinos, Sea Isle City and Ocean City, Maryland.  She was an Eagles Fan, and an excellent cook and baker.  Most of all, Mare loved her family and neighbors and will be sorely missed.

 Daughter of the late Samuel and Jeannette (Nutaites) Ross; Sister of the late Richard Ross. 

Survivors:

Loving and Devoted Husband of 52 Years: Philip J. Falcone, Jr.

Loving Sons: Philip J. Falcone, III of Swarthmore, PA, Anthony (Tiffany) Falcone of Ridley Park, PA, and   Keith Falcone of Swarthmore, PA.

Grandsons: Alexander, Nicholas, Samuel and Vincent.

Sister: Jeannette (Edward) Kalesnik

Brothers: Eugene Ross and Samuel (Joann) Ross

Best Friends: Kris Egan, Cathy Long and Fran LaSpada

Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Visitation: Thursday, April 4th from 9:30-10:45AM at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, 950 Michigan Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, April 4^th at 11:00AM at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, 950 Michigan Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081.

Interment: Private.
