Obituary of William R. Farrell III

William R. Farrell III, age 77, of Dover, DE, formerly of Aston, PA, died suddenly on Friday, July 26, 2019.  William was born in Philadelphia, PA, to his parents William and Mary Farrell, Jr., and was a graduate of John Bartram High School, Class of 1960. He was employed by Boeing for 12 years and later 25 years at AT&T, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order and the AT&T Pioneers.

He was a Veteran of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. 

Bill was a man of few words, but a lot of love. He never hesitated to give advice or show his love by feedng everyone around him. He endeared himself to many of his children's friends and was affectionately called "Dad" or " Willie" by those who loved him. He was known for his morning routine of reading the paper and doing the puzzles.

Bill also loved Philadelphia Sports and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, whether they were winning or losing.

William was preceded in death by his sister Pat and his brother Michael.

Children: Denise Taylor, Mark (Janine) Farrell, Richard (Haidee) Farrell, Karen (Trevor) Kraycik

Brothers and Sisters: Mary, Joe (Carmella), Bob, Tom (Dawne), Fran and Lois

Grandchildren: Maddie, Emily, Tony, Valentina, Connor, Jackson and Jessica

Visitation: Saturday, August 3rd after 10:00AM at the Church of St. Francis De Sales, 35 New Rd. Lenni, PA 19014.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, August 3rd at 11:00AM at the Church of St. Francis De Sales.

Interment: St. Francis De Sales Cemetery.
