Obituary of Mary A. McHale

 

Mary A. McHale, age 70, of Delaware County, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.  Mary was born September 15, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA. Mary worked in the seasonal department at Home Depot in Folsom, PA, since 2005. Mary loved horse racing, especially the Kentucky Derby, and was affectionately known as the “Derby Girl.”

She enjoyed summers in Wildwood, NJ, spending time with family fishing and crabbing. She loved watching the sunrise and sunset. Mary enjoyed her vegetable garden.  Most of all, she was devoted to her family.

 

Daughter of the late Thomas and Marcella A. McHale, sister of the late Thomas McHale, and aunt of the late Michael Mayer.

 

Survivors

Daughters: Denise Bernfield (the Late Wayne Strong, Jr.) and Dotty (Bruce) Perry

Grandchildren: Chrissi Boccassini, Jennifer Bernfield and Lauren Perry

Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Veronica and Julianne

Brothers: Richard McHale and James McHale

Sister: Dorothy Mayer

Also survived by loving nieces and nephews

 

Visitation: Thursday, August 8th after 10:30AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

 

Funeral Service: Thursday, August 8th at 11:30AM at the funeral home.

 

Interment:  SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
