Obituary of Robert G. Lubberman, Sr.

Robert G. Lubberman, Sr., age 78, of Cape May, NJ, formerly of West Chester, PA and Crum Lynne, PA, died Saturday, August 31, 2019.  Bob was a graduate of Ridley High School, Class of 1959. Bob served in the US Army in the ASA from 1961-1963 and spent time in Okinawa, Japan and Fort Meade, Maryland.  He was a driver, salesman and sales manager for Medford Meats and Hatfield Quality Meats. After retiring, he worked at Landhope Farms in Chadds Ford, PA.

Bob enjoyed attending coin shows, backpacking and camping, skiing, trying new restaurants, travel and spending time in North Cape May at the family home.  His travels took him to many places, but he especially loved Las Vegas, New England, Florida and Hawaii with Sally, Las Vegas with his sister and brother (Joe and Marianne), Baxter State Park in Maine with Bobby (grandson) and Karen (daughter), exploring North Cape May with Lizy (granddaughter) and skiing in Colorado and Utah with Bob (son), Sally and Kayleigh (granddaughter).

Bob was very devoted to his family.  Son of the late Robert Lubberman and Harriett (Spicer).  Husband of 54 years to the late Sally (Leidy) Lubberman. Survived by Son: Bob Lubberman, Jr., Daughter: Karen (David Williams) Lubberman Sister: Marianne (Joe) Lubberman-Conmy Brother: Joe (Alicia) Lubberman Grandchildren: Kayleigh, Bobby and Elizabeth.  Also survived by 6 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, September 10th at 12:30PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Tuesday, September 10th after 11:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park.
