Obituary of Frank D. Ruffo, Sr.

Frank D. Ruffo, Sr., 66 years old, Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 8th, 2020. Frank was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner and Villanova University. He was a member of the PIAA and enjoyed refereeing multiple sports. Frank also was an assigner for the Delco Boys Club. He was employed at the Media Court House for 45 years and retired in June of 2019. Frank enjoyed spending time at his beach house at the Jersey Shore with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Lenora Ruffo. Survivors: Beloved Husband of Mary Louise (Hinderhofer), Father of Colleen (Fred), Melanie and Melissa and Frank Jr.(Casey) and three Grandsons: Daniel, Colton and Keagan. Frank is also survived by his Father Daniel, Sister Debra and Brother Joe (Philomena), Sister-in-law Jane Gebhardt, Brother-in-law Paul Hinderhofer (Mary) as well as many other family members and friends. He was loved by all who came in contact with him. Visitation: Friday, January 17th from 6:00-8:00PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, and Saturday, January 18th from 9:30-10:15AM at the Church of Our Lady of Peace, 208 Milmont Ave., Folsom, PA 19033. Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 18th at 10:30AM at the Church of Our Lady of Peace, 208 Milmont Ave., Folsom, PA 19033. Interment: Private.
