Aunt Phyllis was a force of nature - full of life and laughter and ready to let you know exactly what was on her mind. At our family gatherings back in the day, when Aunt Phyllis and the Turner family arrived, the gathering went up a gear or two. You could always hear Phyllis's laughter, and her good spirit came over the get together. Even my somewhat difficult Dad, Big Lu, fell under her spell, and realized it was better to get along with Phyllis and enjoy the merriment, than to attempt to control things. She had that affect on people. We all miss her.
My deepest sympathy to Freddie and David on the loss of your mother. Phyllis was a kindhearted and good natured women who loved to joke around with my mother and all of us Cronin children. I have many fond memories growing up next door to the Turners. May she Rest In Peace.
Every year at Christmas the entire family would spend it together with Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Blink. It was a very warm and loving home and family. I have very dear memories of those times with Aunt Phyllis and the entire family. Rest In Peace. You were loved by all you touched.
Love Jeff, Gisela & Joseph
