Obituary of Marjorie Kearney

Marjorie Laura (York) Kearney beloved wife of the late Ray Kearney went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2020, at her daughter's home in Aston, PA, at the age of 99. Marjorie was born on November 5, 1920 in Mars Hill Maine to the late Albert and Augusta (Crouse) York. After marriage, she still resided in Maine until later moving to Marlborough and then East Hartford. Marjorie was employed for 22 years at the Aetna Insurance Company before retiring. She was a strong woman of faith and a member of the Wethersfield Evangelical Free Church in Wethersfield. Marjorie loved her flowers, needlework, jigsaw puzzles, games and traveling. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She leaves three daughters, Donna Acheson of Aston PA, Nancy (Carl Jr) Weber of East Hartford and Linda (Paul Sr) Shettleworth of Middletown. Eight Grandchildren Carolyn (Lee) Acheson, Kimberly (Scott) Fox, Jonathan Acheson, Paul Jr (Sharon) Shettleworth, Carl Weber III, Laura (Kevin) Corriveau, Jeffrey (Amy) Acheson, Timothy (Kim) Shettleworth. 15 Great Grandchildren: Sarah, Casey, Brendan, Caleb, Kayleigh, Courtney, Hannah, Patricia, Jacob, John, Athena, Adam, Odin, Samuel and Kacie. She was pre-deceased by three sisters and three brothers and son-in law Bill.
