Obituary of John E. Miller

John E. Miller, age 94, of West Grove, PA, formerly of Glen Mills, PA, died Friday, April 10, 2020 at Jenner’s Pond, West Grove, PA. John was born August 14, 1925 in Chester, PA. He was a graduate of Chester High School and the University of Delaware with a degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Miller was employed at Hercules Inc. for 37 years, retiring in 1991. John was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran, where he served as Staff Sergeant during WWII. John was a former member of Newtown Square Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed the Philadelphia sports teams and following the stock market. Son of the late Edmund B. and Mabel (Crowther) Miller; brother of the late Ruth Ferguson and Dorothy Farquharson Survivors: Wife of 62 years: Emma Forrest Miller Sons: John J. (Mary) Miller and Matt Miller Grandchildren: Christine R. Miller, Jackie V. Miller, John M. Miller and Holly (David) Peck Great-Grandchild: Ellie Peck Nephew: Frank Ferguson Services and Interment will be private at Edgewood Memorial Park.
