Obituary of Albert A. Amoroso

Albert A. Amoroso, age 87, of Corry, PA, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the home of his son in Middletown Twp., Media, PA. He was born in Corry, PA and was a lifelong resident. Albert attended Corry Area High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. Albert was employed by McInnes Steel in maintenance, retiring in 1984, and also did general home improvements. Mr. Amoroso was a parishioner of The Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Corry, PA and a member of the VFW Post #264. Son of the late Giovanni and Teresa (Baglioni) Amoroso; Husband of the late Lavon “Bonnie” (Davis) Amoroso; brother of the late Grace Amoroso, who died at birth; Theodore J., Joseph A., Anthony S. Amoroso and Philip P. Amoroso. Survivors: Son: Albert A. (Margaret Judge) Amoroso Daughter: Stacy (Robin) Parks Brother: Ralph (Judy) Amoroso Grandchildren: Alex, Laura and Michael Also survived by nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held in Corry, PA with interment in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery with Military Honors.
