Obituary of James Lynn Frye

James Lynn Frye, age 73, a lifetime resident of Upland, PA, died Saturday, May 2, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Jim was born June 28, 1946. He was employed with Marple Township and retired in 1987. Jim loved to travel. He enjoyed horse racing and was an avid Phillies baseball fan. Jim loved listening and singing to the oldies but goodies. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family. Most recently, he enjoyed time spent with his grandson, James. Jim lived his life to the fullest. He was a fun, generous and loving person who will be missed greatly by many. In April, Jim was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Jean M. (Murray) Frye, his father, John Arch Frye and mother Elizabeth B. Frye and his brother John Frye. Survivors: Daughter: Connie (David) Wagner Grandson: James Wagner Sisters: Brenda Lock and Vicki (Richard) Smith A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Resurrection Life Church. A Private Burial Service will be held at Lawn Croft Cemetery on May 8th. In lieu of flowers, his wishes were for memorial donations to be made to his grandson, James D.
