Obituary of Jeanette Y. Burke

Jeanette Y. Burke, age 79, of Middletown Township, Media, PA, died on May 6, 2020 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Jeanette was born September 11, 1940 in Media, PA. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1958 and went on to graduate from Keystone Business School. Jeanette was a lifetime parishioner of the Church of Nativity BVM, Media, PA. She was very generous and kind and always had an upbeat outlook on life… always smiling and laughing. Jeanette shared her home and flower gardens and devoted a great deal of her time to the Country Gardeners Garden Club, hosting luncheons and workshops for over 30 years. She participated in many other clubs including a local book club and the Questers Antique Club. She treasured her antiques and collectibles and proudly displayed them in her home. Wife of the late Robert C. Burke. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Burke; her grandchildren Jeanette, Paul III, Annaliese, Chloe and John Ballard; her siblings Anna Manz and her husband Dr. Donald Manz, Teresa McKeown and her husband Joseph McKeown, and Joseph Yungwirth; and their children and grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
