Obituary of Edward T. Shockley, Sr.

Edward T. Shockley, Sr., age 97, of Woodlyn, PA, died Friday, May 15, 2020. He was born December 3, 1922 in Snowhill, Maryland. Ed was an electrician for Phoenix Steel Company in Claymont Delaware, retiring in 1980. Mr. Shockley was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Ed was devoted to his faith and enjoyed his involvement with Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Wallingford, PA. He loved his home and family and especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ed also enjoyed traveling through the years. Husband of the late June L. (Griest) Shockley Survivors: Daughter: Barbara (Noel) Phelps Sons: Edward T. (Jean) Shockley, Jr. and Barry E. (Sharon) Shockley 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren Services and Interment will be private at Edgewood Memorial Park.
