George……what else can be said. If you said that in the presence of our very large and extended Delco music family….we all knew who you were talking about. His kind generous heart and HUGE personality kept us all entertained whether he was on a stage in a bar with his incredible voice or entertaining us on Facebook with his many memes and “that face”!!
His sense of humor was only one of the best things about him. He always could make you smile...most times your face and/or stomach would hurt from laughing so hard. His quick wit and made up lyrics (if he couldn’t remember the words) would leave you cracking up and in a much better place than you were before meeting up with him.
To George Sr – I can’t imagine what you are going through right now….you are not supposed to be at your child’s funeral. It must be soul numbing to lose such a large piece of your heart. Take comfort and pride in the fact SO many people loved George and know that he loved you!
To Margo – I know no words will heal the gaping hole you have in your life right now. Anyone who knew the two of you could see the love you have for each other. Just know that George adored you and will be close by at all times….look for the little signs! We all will be here for you if you need anything!
To Phillip – There is no feeling like losing your dad….you only get one and you got a good one!! Your dad was so proud of you and you could see that pride when he talked about you. Keep making him proud - he’ll be watching you!
To Dan, Danny, Evan, and the rest of George’s family – He loved you all with a love that was genuine George. He loved nothing in this life more than his family! Hold that love close as it doesn’t come around often.
George was a generous giving person even up to the end. If he could help, he would be there….even if he barely knew you. If we could all use that as a guide to live our lives by, this crazy world would be a much better place. While our world has gone darker without his physical presence here with us, and we will all miss him terribly, knowing George’s heart is still here with us should be inspiring for us to keep the generosity, happiness, and love for each other going strong!
Much love and respect! I’ll miss ya - Rest in peace!
BYE THERE George!!
Margo and family, as we remember George in this day we not only Mourn the loss of a great man but we celebrate the life as well. I made a CD for you from his band Cucumber Spread that he recorded here. I need to find the right time to give it to you. Today may not present the moment, it’s from the 90’s and we were all proud of it. I hope it ads to your great memories of him. Much love and sympathy to you and the family. Rest easy my long time friend. Sincerely Pauly B
I never dreamed that I would have to say goodbye to my precious, baby brother. None of this feels real or even possible. This earth will never know his like again. His light will shine on through the love radiating for him from just about everyone he ever met, and his laughter will echo in all our hearts. George, I am so grateful you and Margo found your love, I just wish you had had decades more to love and heal each other. You both deserved so much more. The world needed your example of what true love and devotion looks like. Give mama a big hug for me. The only comfort I can find in any of this is knowing how happy you both are being together again. We will miss you every minute of every day. I will have a hole in my chest until we are together again. I love you, lil bro. Rest easy and keep an eye on us down here. I’m sure we will keep you laughing up there. Bye there...
George we rocked many of clubs together all the way back to mid 1990’s The Spred kicked major ass in so many ways! And then to do it again with Greenmachine was so cool. I’ll never forget you and Dave were in my wedding! So go Jam out with Eric and Crash and we will meet one day again ! We will Rock the house again I am certain. Condolences to Margo and George’s family. This is a tough one to stomach. Your voice will live on forever in our hearts and souls

We loved our Uncle George because he could always make us smile and never failed to make us laugh. He will be dearly missed. We’re sending solace to his wife and children during this difficult time. He is with you.
My condolences to the family and all the friends...
Saddened by the fact his smiling silly self has left us all behind. His forethought to be an organ donor no doubt is something he didn’t expect to do so soon but knowing a piece of George still will be on our earthly plane with us is a happy note for all to cling on to...Rock on George, rock on!!
