Condolences
Our loving condolences to Dee's family and friends. Dee was an inspired, talented and devoted preschool teacher for all three of our daughters at New Gulph Children's Center, between 1983 and 1995, from the time they were just a few months old until they were ready for kindergarten. All three -- now happy and successful young women in their 30s, two with toddlers of their own -- remember her fondly and with gratitude, as do we as the parents. New Gulph was a very special environment and educational/socializing experience for the youngsters of working parents in and around Radnor, thanks to its exceptional staff, of whom Dee was a very important part.

Dee was a wonderful women who was so full of life. As I sit at the lake and look out the window I can picture Dee and Joe drifting by in the boat fishing for that big bass. She was a classy lady with a zest for life. Our condolences to the family on your loss.
Thanks for the memories!

Your family was much larger than just the biological family, from your school children to your "French " grandchildren and all your children's friends. Your love and caring was strong enough to span a wide circle encompassing everyone. We all felt this in a very individual and special way. We will remember fishing in Maine, dancing to "Wipeout", pumpkin pie, pineapple turkeys, Longaker dip, fish chowder, fragile antique ice skaters and all the holiday traditions that now continue on with the next generations. Mostly we will remember the good examples you always set and the thoughtful advice that was always whispered, never shouted. Have a red wine up there and smile down on us. You just made heaven a better place.
First I want to wish comfort and support to the whole family - Peggy, Bill, Joan, all the children and great grandchildren! My prayers are with you ALL at this most difficult!
I had the good fortune of knowing Dee through her daughter, Peggy who has been my best girlfriend for 60 plus years! Dee is one of the most warm, friendly, encouraging, strong and uplifting women I knew. She always praised her children for their accomplishments and minimized their mistakes. She was also very talented. I remember her sewing skirts and other things for Peggy. She volunteered time to the Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was a good cook especially Italian foods. She was always there to listen if anyone wanted to discuss a problem and she had the best advice. She loved to laugh and enjoyed jokes. She was also kind, I hardly remember her saying anything bad about anyone. She endured tough times with a smile and moved on in life to teach young children and she was loved for her work with the children even to an old age. She had a way about her in making everyone feel comfortable and valued. I loved her very much and will greatly miss hearing her voice and seeing pictures of her and learning lessons from her life stories. On July 2, we have lost someone GREAT, but heaven gained an incredible soul.
My Grandma: She was 99 years old and 9 months. Her dream was to make it to 100 and she told me once, “once I do that, I don’t care what happens.” Grandma, in my heart, you made it to 100. She had such a spice for life. She always made me laugh and no matter what was going on in life, she always found a way to have fun. She loved international travel and she loved a great adventure. She went skiing in the alps. She loved Maine and fishing and couldn’t wait to eat her Lobstah’s. She loved the Jersey Shore and everything it had to offer. She loved to go crabbing. She and I loved scramble squares and we always could spend hours upon hours figuring them out and laughing the entire time while doing them. She loved painting. She loved cooking. She loved the Philadelphia Phillies like no other fan on the planet. She loved dancing, especially to the song “Wipe out.” She loved musical theater. She loved children. She loved her family and all of her friends she made over the years. She has 5 grandkids and 10 grandchildren and she just loved all of us equally and fully with her enormous heart. She had a way about her that just made everyone who met her fall in love with her. She could light up a room the instant she stepped into it. She was such a genuine soul. She was the most fun person to be around all of the time. She had the kindest heart in the world. I am so honored that she was my grandma. She was such an inspiration to everyone. All of her qualities were just so special. Grandma, I am going to miss you so much. You always helped me through the good times and the bad and helped me to stay motivated on my journey called life. May you Rest In Peace and if I know you the way I think I do, I am sure you are back in Joes arms and dancing to “wipe out” all over again and having the time of your life.
I am going to miss you so much but I thank you for all the great memories you left with me. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
