Obituary of Helen Sidor

Helen (DeBarto) Sidor, age 87, of Media, PA, formerly of Geistown, PA, died on August 13, 2020 at her son’s home in Media, PA. Born March 1, 1933 in Johnstown, PA, she was a graduate of Cambria Rowe Business School. Helen was a bookkeeper for various small businesses. Helen was a proud member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America. She was an excellent baker and enjoyed sharing with her family and friends. Most of all, Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Wife of the late Bernard Sidor. Survivors: Sons: Michael (Francesca), Joseph (Leslie), Bernard (Kate) Sidor 6 grandchildren: Alexander, Christine, Stephen, Matthew, Bernard, Matthew Francis Visitation: Tuesday, August 18th, from 10:00-10:45AM at St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, August 18th at 11:00AM at the Church. Graveside Services: Friday, August 21st at 1:00PM at St. Anthony’s Italian Catholic Cemetery, Johnstown, PA. In lieu of flowers or donations, please have Masses said in Helen’s memory.
