Obituary of Thomas Silveri

Thomas Silveri, age 89, of Aston, PA, died on Friday August 21, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Silveri was a resident of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, and Bonita Springs, FL, where he was a winter resident, before moving to Aston, PA. A Veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Silveri served during the Korean War, where he received three Bronze Service Stars. He had been employed as a certified welder for Chrysler Motors, until his retirement. Tom was a member of CrossPointe Church of Middletown Township. He was also a member of American Legion Post #926 of Aston, PA. Son of the late Camillo (Thomas) and Ida D'Antonio; Brother of the late Jennie Campanaro and Florence Levito. Survivors: Loving Wife :Dorothy J. (nee Currie) Silveri Sons: Frank Thompson and Bruce (Katherine) Thompson Daughter: Nancy (Larry) Somers Brothers: Rev. Donato Silveri and Anthony (Natalie) Silveri Sister: Marie (Paul) Fratto Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday, August 27th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. Funeral Service: Thursday, August 27th at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to: CrossPointe Church, 601 S.
