Obituary of Doris G. Hoerr

Doris G. Hoerr, age 94, a 70 year resident of Media, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, after a brief illness. Doris was employed with Rose Tree Media School District for more than 30 years with their food services department. Doris was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Media, where she was a Sunday school teacher and helped with the nursery. Doris enjoyed vacations to the Pocono’s with her family. In younger years, she always attended her sons' sporting events and most recently her grandchildren’s events. Most importantly, Doris cherished spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother. grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband the late Robert Hoerr; her son the late Robert G. Hoerr; and her brothers the late Bill, Russ, George and Charles. Survivors: Sons: Glenn W. (Jeanne) Hoerr and Bruce T. (Deborah) Hoerr Daughter-in-Law: Dot Hoerr Sisters: Carolyn Curtis and Betty Hart Grandchildren: Bryan, Megan, Caitlyn, Andy, Jessica, Kevin, Rob and Bill Great-Grandchildren: Macklin, Mira, Billy, Rilynn and Logan Also survived by nieces and nephews Graveside Service: Tuesday, September 1st at 12noon at Media Cemetery, Kirk Lane, Media, PA 19063.
