Obituary of Gabriel D. Moretti
Gabriel D. Moretti, “Duke” age 80, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Media, PA, died suddenly on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at home. He was a graduate of St. James Catholic High School, Class of 1958. Duke was the owner of Moretti’s Barber Shop in Brookhaven, PA, for 53 years, until he retired in 2014.
Mr. Moretti was a parishioner at SS. Peter and Paul Parish, West Chester, PA, and a former parishioner at St. Anthony’s, Chester, PA, and the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA.
Duke was an avid Penn State Football and Villanova Basketball fan. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and Italy was his favorite place to visit. Duke was devoted to his family and cherished spending time together in Avalon, NJ. Most of all, he adored the time he spent with his granddaughters.
Brother of the late Joseph and Albert Moretti, Josephine Greer and Gloria Christaldi

Sister-in-Law: Elvira Moretti (the late Albert Moretti)
Cousin: Louise Riddle of San Francisco, CA
Visitation: Saturday, September 12th from 9:30-10:15AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, September 12th at 10:30AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity.
Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
