Michael F. Thompson, age 67, of Chester, PA, died suddenly on Friday November 13, 2020. Mike was born and raised in Collingdale, PA, and was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, class of 1971. He spent his entire working life employed by Pennsylvania Machine Works (Penn Machine) in Aston, PA.
Mike enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and friends and was counting down the days until he could retire to his campground community in Berks County.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle soul and willingness to lend an ear to anyone needing advice or just wanting to talk.
Son of the late James R. and Frances (Lafferty) Thompson and brother of the late James J. Thompson.
He is survived by his daughters, Kate and Karen, his loving partner, Hoa, his sister-in-law, Linda, his nieces, Jacque and Fallon, great niece and nephews, cousins and many friends he considered family.
In keeping with his wishes and the current Covid-19 situation, services will be private. Instead, we ask you to raise a glass of your best Irish whiskey and toast a fond farewell to our beloved Dad.
