Obituary of Jennie W. Robbins
NAME OF DECEASED: Jennie W. (Kyanski) Robbins, 95, of Havertown, PA. Died Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Kindred Hospital, Havertown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, she grew up in Wildwood, NJ, before moving to Havertown where she resided for 69 years. Mrs. Robbins was employed by Sears in St David's working as a sales consultant with cosmetics for many years.
ORGANIZATIONS: Mrs. Robbins grew up in Wildwood, NJ where she met her husband. She worked on the boardwalk for many years and as she was a "people person" she did well in sales.
She loved her family, enjoyed her home and having family and friends over for fellowship and dinners. She liked the simple life such as cooking, gardening and just spending time at home. Vacations at the sea shore with her family and especially her grandchildren was one of her greatest pleasures. Having a daughter and grandson with "special needs", this became her passion and the time spent with daughter, Nancy and grandson, Sam was very special to her. Jennie's late husband Dewey was a Mason and they both enjoyed traveling with his Masonic Order.

She is survived by two daughters: Joyanne Merriken of Wallingford, PA, and Nancy Robbins of N.E. Philadelphia, PA and one son: Dewey S. (Ailean) Robbins, Jr. of Chester Springs, PA; four grandchildren: Sam Merriken of Wallingford, Julie (Jon) Flasar of North Carolina, Betsy (Ian) Mutch of London, England and Merrilee (Daniel) Davidson of Chester Springs, PA.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 20 at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp, Media, PA.
VISITATION: Wednesday, 10:00 am at the funeral home.
