Condolences
Karen was a loving soul who was adored by all who knew her. Her energy and passion for nursing and in the simulation lab at DCCC was second to none. I had the honor of working with Karen as a student in the ADN program and later as adjunct faculty at Delaware County. She was always full of energy and life, and it was so wonderful to see her helping the students achieve mastery in the sim lab. My condolences go out to her family, her friends, and all who have worked with her. She will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

My beautiful Aunt Karen ministered joy, grace, compassion, and humor. How blessed I was to be hee niece! She both told me impactful, serious things like that she prayed for me every morning AND things like "C'mon Auh! Get your sneaks on. We're going for a walk!" She could strengthen faith AND make one laugh in spite of themselves. Her time on earth seemed too short. But I know in the kingdom of heaven it will be eternal and so blessed. Thank you Jesus for my Aunt Karen.

Dear Lord, I thank you so much for Karen and her sweet famliy. I will always remember the beautiful and special lady Karen was; Now she is with You Lord, and perfect!
I loved Karen, she was the best of the best Christian ladies I have known, and I have known some great women in my life! Karen Troppman lives on in Glory. Thank you Karen for loving my family and also being like a mom to my children. I feel like one of the disciple's of Christ has gone home and we are left to carry on, and she has. It was always great to run into Karen during our cancer treatment appointments. We would sit together and talk until the nurses called one of us in. She was always delighted to see me and I was also delighted to see her. Karen's love for Christ and her family over-flowed onto all of us. She really cared for people as a nurse and as a human being. As it has been mentioned, Karen Troppman was an amazing and funny entertainer and worship leader, who gave her all at Camp Treasure Island, Longwood Gardens and countless other places. Karen's beautiful angelic voice, calmed our hearts as it echoed up to the heavens and made the angles smile. I am glad you are safely home with the redeemed family of God. We miss, that you are not with us for now, but we are out right, grateful that you are healed and safe in the presence of God. Prayers for Karen's devoted, loving and kindhearted son Mark Troppman, Karen's sweet, precious, devoted daughter Anita T. Warren and Bill ( William J. Troopman Jr, ) Karen's faithful, supportive & devoted husband as well, pray for rest of us. Well done Karen Troppman, we love you! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!, Amen!
She was in the radiology department at Delaware County Community College where I was attending. I used to drop by and see her, and she would help me figure life out and was a beautiful sympathetic ear. I miss you Aunt Karen, so much.
I am so very sorry to learn of Karen's passing and I offer my condolences and sincere sympathy to her family.
I met Karen and had the privilege of working with her at DCCC when I managed the student Health Center there.
I coordinated events with her in her job capacity in the SIM Lab. Karen was always very helpful and supportive and an absolute treasure for her students. Karen , use your God given talent and sing with the angels . You will be sorely missed.
RIP and God Bless

I met Karen at Faith Community Church in Brookhaven many, many years ago. I remember the first time I heard her sing and I got chills. She had a beautiful voice. Over the years we left that church but when I started working at DCCC, I saw her in the hallway
and immediately knew her, with her curly red hair. She looked the same. She didn’t know me but we would say hello and smile at each other all the time. I regret never telling her that I remembered her angelic voice after all those years. Well she is singing with the angels now and making heaven even more beautiful. I pray for comfort for her family in the days and weeks ahead. I’m sure she will be greatly missed.

I offer my sincere condolences to the Troppman and Budnick families. Karen and I first crossed paths at Taylor Hospital and then again at DCCC. She loved the students that passed theough the Sim Lab doors and always was willing to assist them. Her first love was her family and her children. She spoke of them frequently and with great love. She could sing like an angel and sang at several of the Nursing pinning ceremonies as well as at the DCCC graduations. She will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace and sing with the angels. Kathleen R. Silage
