I am a college friend of Cara’s and we would visit her grandparents at the beach. “Pops” as he would also allow me to call him even though I was just a friend of his grand daughter. I remember him waking up early and working out, being active and sporting a good tan from being at the beach. He was always gentle spoken and kind. A great man of God who will be missed till we all meet again.
My condolences to all the family.
Uncle Dave: so many special memories through the years. Uncle was my favorite and was the sweetest man. I loved him so much. I remember watching him play baseball on a team and him chewing his gum and looking so handsome in his uniform.. He loved to show me his garden in the backyard when they (Aunt Wynn) lived in Woodlyn. He loved my children and sometimes they would watch them for me. I had wonderful visits to Lewes, Delaware. So grateful that I was able to visit him last month and able to hug him..once again. He loved his children and their children and expressed his love for his whole family often.
Aunt Wynn and Uncle brought me to the Lord, at Woodlyn ! I am forever grateful.. RIP Uncle, you are Home now. Vicky
