Obituary of Thomas J. Litchko, Sr.
Thomas J. Litchko of Boothwyn, PA, died peacefully at home on June 22nd at the age of 88. He was born January 28, 1933 in Hazleton, PA, to the late John and Anna Litchko. He graduated from Chester High School in 1951. Tom completed a machinist apprenticeship at Baldwin Locomotive in Eddystone, PA, and retired from the DuPont machine shop in Wilmington, DE in 1992. Tom proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the U.S.S. Thuban. He was a member of St. John Fisher Church in Boothwyn, where he served as an usher for many years.
Tom was quick with a joke, but even faster offering his time and assistance to his family and friends. He was fortunate to enjoy almost 30 years of retirement.
Predeceased by his parents, sister Mary Joyce, and brother John.
Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie (May) Litchko, his children Loretta (Rich) Dewees, Elaine (Wayne) Lamplugh, Thomas, John (Anne), and Marge (Dave) Marvel, 12 grandchildren, a sister Dolores Hazel, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday, June 29th at 10:30AM at The Church of St. John Fisher, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA 19061.
Interment will be private.
