Obituary of Gwendolyn Bolton

Gwendolyn (Scruggs) Bolton, age 84, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Upper Chichester, PA, died Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was a 1955 graduate of Chester High School. Gwen was employed at First Keystone Federal Saving Bank and Rose Tree Media School District.

Gwen was a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she was the head of the Mary Martha Sisters and she was a member of the United Methodist Women.  Gwen also supervised the Outreach Program. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.

Wife of the late Thomas Bolton, who died in 1981; daughter of the late Thomas W. and Ella (Rayne) Scruggs; twin sister of the late Gerry Johnson.

Survivors:

Sons: Steven Lee Bolton and Thomas Bryan (Heather Kellogg) Bolton, III

Grandsons:  David and Jeffrey Bolton

Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews

Visitation: Saturday, July 10^th from 9:00-9:45AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 600 Dutton Mill Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 10^th at 10:00AM at Christ United Methodist Church.

Interment: Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
