Obituary of Chester F. Murach

Chester F. Murach, age 71, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born April 11, 1950 and was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1968.  Chet was a dedicated Chester City Police Officer, retiring in 2010.

Chet was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving from 1968-1972 and a U.S. Navy Reservist, serving from 1972 to 2006.

Son of the late Chester and Mary (Kolimaga) Murach.

Wife of 49 years: Elizabeth Weigand Murach

Daughter: Lisa (Buddy) Pennisi

Son: Marc Murach

Granddaughter: Alyissa Murach

Step-Grandchildren: Michael, Morgan and Samantha Pennisi

Sister: Jean Mattson

Niece: Abby Mattson

Visitation: Saturday March 26^th from 9:30-10:45AM  at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service followed by Military Honors: Saturday, March 26^th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
