Obituary of Madaline M. Horvat

Madaline Marie Miley-Horvat, “Mimi” age 68, of Aston, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, died Monday, May 30, 2022 at home. She was born August 27, 1953 and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA.

Madaline was a parishioner of the Church of St. Joseph, Aston, PA.  Affectionately called Mimi, she was a proud grandmother who enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sports and activities. Mimi was an avid walker, loved to dance and listening to music. 

Mimi had a welcoming home with a heart of gold to match!  No one would leave her presence empty handed, as she was always ready with a treat or a word of advice.  Mimi always reminded us that prayers said on clear cloudless days make it to heaven faster.  Our newest angel had a clear path to heaven with beautiful, blue skies.

Wife of the late James Horvat; Daughter of the late Eli and Grace Miley; Sister-in-law to the late Richard Stefanowicz and Ronald Jones.

Survivors:

Daughters: Tara (John) Dill, Jenna (Joe Cosgrove) Horvat

Sons: Ryan Horvat and Michael Horvat

Grandchildren: Katelynn Horvat, Matthew Dill, Emily Dill, Ava Dill

Great Granddaughter: Rylee Horvat

Sisters: Cathy Jones-Shortlidge (Robert Shortlidge), Kellianne Miley

Brother: Robert Miley (Fran duAime)

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

Visitation: Friday, June 3rd,  after 9:00AM at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.

Funeral Mass: Friday, June 3rd at 10:00AM at the church.

Interment: Private.
