Obituary of Roy Bell

W. Royden "Roy" Bell, Jr., 89, of Malvern and formerly of Middletown Twp., Media, PA. Died Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Sunrise @ Paoli. Born in Philadelphia, he had been a resident of Middletown Twp., Media, since 1954, before moving to the Sunrise @ Paoli, Malvern, 11 years ago. US Army Air Corp serving during World War II. He was employed by Philadelphia Electric Company as an Electrical Engineer retiring in 1985. Member of the First United Methodist Church of Media. Roy was devoted to his family and loved the times they spent together. He loved spending his summers in Ocean City where he enjoyed the beach, walking the boardwalk and dinners at Zaberers Restaurant. His passion was music and he loved the dances in Ocean City at the Golden Galley. SURVIVORS: Sons: Robert B. "Bob" (Gretchen) Bell of Brookhaven, PA and Fremont Bell; step-daughter, Barbara (James) Greiner of Upper Providence, Media, PA. Predeceased by his Wife, Margaret A. Barnes Bell who died in 1991.
