Obituary of Wayne J. Hundley

Wayne J. Hundley, age 66, of Bear, Delaware, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Loving son of the late Bruce and Gloria Hundley, and loving brother of Victor Hundley, Wayne was born in Chester, PA, graduated from St. James High School in the Class of 1974, and attended Drexel University and Delaware County Institute of Technology. He was employed by Scott Paper Company for a number of years and later grew his career over 37 years to a Lead Simulator Technician with Flight Safety International in Delaware.

Formerly of Chester and Ridley Park, Wayne resided in Bear, Delaware for the last 22 years enjoying a quiet life. Exploration of space and Astronomy, Aeronautics, ship design and hunting were among his hobbies. He was well read on diverse periods of history, taking the greatest interest in the history of WWII and Nassau.

He enjoyed playing chess, War Board Games, and Strategic Video Games. He was also an avid walker and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors: Brother: Victor (Anne) Hundley. Also survived by aunt, many cousins across PA, Virginia, and Maryland, co-workers and friends.

Visitation: Wednesday, August 17th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, August 17th at 11:00AM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle.

Interment: St. Thomas the Apostle Church Cemetery.
