Obituary of Jennifer Dennis

Jennifer R. Dennis, “ Jenny” age 54, of Tannersville, PA, formerly of Springfield, PA, died on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Stroudsburg, PA.

She was born May 13, 1968 and graduated with a BS in Education, East Stoudsburg, PA, and a Master’s Degree in Education at East Stroudsburg University. Jenny was employed at Stroudsburg Area School District for 28 years as a Junior High School Special Education Teacher.

Jennifer was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church in Tannersville, PA. She was a member of the National Education Association,  Pennsylvania State Education Association and Stroudsburg Area Education Association.

Daughter of the late Thomas C. Lewis, Granddaughter of the late Catherine Lewis and William Lewis, Agnes Polisano, Raphael Polisano and Niece of Bubbles Polisano

Survivors:

Husband: Frank T. Dennis of Tannersville, PA

Mother: Carmella Lewis of Springfield, Delaware County, PA

Brother: Christopher Lewis (Dana) of East Goshen, PA

Nieces: Danielle and Willa Lewis of East Goshen, PA and several other nieces and nephews

Sisters-in-Law: Linda McGeehan and her husband Tom, Theresa Karsko and her husband, John

Aunt & Uncle: Margie and Harry Oldham of Springfield, Delaware County, PA.

Cousins: Maggie Gouvas, Harry Oldham, Jr. of Springfield, Delaware County, PA

A Celebration of Jenny’s life will be held at East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, 83 South Courtland Street, East Stroudsburg, PA, 18301 on Saturday, October 22^nd from 11:00AM-3:00PM.

Interment will be private.
