Obituary of James John Swindell

James J. Swindell, age 85, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Media, PA, and Collingdale, PA, died Monday, October 17, 2022 at home.  He was born April 2, 1937 in Darby, PA. Jim had a BS and Engineering Certification.   Mr. Swindell served in the National Guard from 1964-1966.

Jim enjoyed model trains, whittling and creating stained glass.  Jim also spent time gardening and cherished his beloved dog, Cinder.

Son of the late James W. and Rettabelle (Black) Swindell; Husband of the late Evelyn B. Swindell.

Survivors:

Sister: Retta Swindell of Collingdale, PA.

Nephews: William, Robert, Ralph and Stephen Brownlowe

Very Dear Friend: Mary Smith of Media, PA and Sandy (Chuck) Hohn

of Stockton, CA

Also survived by grand nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews

Services and Interment will be private.
