Obituary of Nancy T. Gannon

Nancy Gannon (Nee: Kane), 81, of Brookhaven, PA, passed away on November 19^th, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born in 1941, to James and Anne Kane in Philadelphia. After Nancy graduated from St. Maria Goretti High School in 1958, she went to work as a secretary with Atlantic Refinery.

Nancy married her high school sweetheart, Jim Gannon in 1963 and started their life together.  They lived in South Philly at first but then moved to Brookhaven in 1968. 

Nancy and Jim had three children.  They created and lived a beautiful life together especially with their summers at their North Wildwood house on the Jersey shore.

Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, James. She is survived by her son, James Gannon, Jr. and his wife, Maureen; her daughter, Nancy McCarthy and her husband, Tim; and her son, Tommy Gannon and his wife, Nikki.  She is also survived by her favorite people, her grand kids:  Caitlyn McCarthy, James Gannon III (Leah), Kristin Morford (Phillip), Michael Gannon (Maria), Patrick Gannon, and TJ Gannon. Also, her wonderful grand dogs: Cooper, Gidget, Alfie, Renly and Cash.

Visitation is on Wednesday, November 23^rd from 9:45 -10:45am at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Interment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, and all are welcomed.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you buy a scratch off in Nancy’s honor.
